It has a rebuilt engine in it with about 2500 miles. When he gave it to me it had been sitting for quite a while although it was running pretty well. When I brought it to Nashville I had someone check it out to see if we could get it to pass the emissions test. During the process we put a new carb on it and were able to get it to pass, however, now it does not run very weel. It seems to lack some power and has quite a bit of spark knock especially after it has been driven for a few miles. It seems to run a little ot also however I cannot tell because it does not overheat and the temp gauge does not work. I am NOT a mechanic so I am looking for someone that I can trust to work on this car to make it run the way I know it can. Any interest? I have a 1979 corvette that was given to me by my father.
