Master Tech Automotive: Like Tech Support For Your Car, Only Better

The last couple of days, I’ve been fighting with my router. At first, it didn’t want to stay lit or have any kind of security. Finally, I broke down and bought a new one that was determined not to work correctly either. It swore up and down I had a static IP address, Comcast swore up and down I didn’t; I finally broke down and called the technical support people for my router.

The technical support person I called was polite and efficient. They also had a very strong foreign accent and no sense of humor. Ive been wondering for years if the job description for technical support people was: polite, efficient, strong accent needed and no sense of humor a plus!

I got to thinking about how, in many ways, taking your car to Master Tech Automotive here in the ‘Boro is a lot like techinical support for your car. Only in this case, better since all the guys at the shop have a good sense of humor, and they don’t have strong foreign accents. Heck, only a couple of the guys even have an accent at all- and that’s a southern accent, which most of us here in Tennessee are used to.

From the first phone call you make to the shop to paying your bill when everything’s finished, you know you are dealing with a family, hometown store. There is no having to escalate things up to corporate, since there is no corporate. The manager, Jeff, has the ability to make things right for you on the strange chance something goes wrong. And, because there are no silly corporate rules dictating bending over backwards and giving the store away to those unfortunate scammers out there, you can rest assured that our business is strong. Knowing that Master Tech has been here since 1996 and will be here for a good many year to come is reassuring in these financial times. If we give you a warranty on something, we will still be here in case you need to have something rechecked.
