An Introduction
I’m Ivy Hogan and I’m an evangelist for Master Tech Automotive in Murfreesboro. I worked for this shop for three years when I was going to Middle Tennessee State University and it was one of my favorite jobs ever. Clearly, it is a good place to work since most of the people I worked with over 8 years ago are still working there.
Master Tech has a unique vibe you don’t get when going to most other auto repair shops. Because it is a family owned business- owned by Michael and Felicia Searcy- we do things their way, not the way some corporation has set up with all their charts and analysts and all. Their way is guided by their principles and beliefs. As Christians and all around good people, they run their business with honesty, integrity, and a sense of fairness.
Back then and now, we were encouraged to get to know our customers. The current manager, Jeff Ford, has an amazing ability to remember things about people, and he treats them like family. This is part of what this blog is about- getting to know the Master Tech family, seeing the ins and outs of the auto repair business, and of course- tips on keeping your car in great shape!
